Much easier and safer to just install a new 99¢ bulb. A piece of foil taped in place is not what I'd call a solid electrical connection.
Might be after SHTF.
A drop of solder would work too.

Yeah, melt the plastic insulation and then rip it off with your fingers? Ouch! Hot!
Naaa, ... just hold the two wires together with your fingers and then squeeze that 'ol soldering iron in there right between the thumb and index finger. Hold the solder with your teeth and sneak your face down there into the battle zone to apply it.
