I saw where Wayne Root said over in his state, the price of eggs that he buys is over $9, very close to $10. Here in Texas, we have had problems in the stores with getting Chicken and Turkey Deli meats.
The chick catalog arrived today. It's $4.95 per cx chick now. Turkey poults are $12.95 each plus shipping. Feed is $22.50 a bag.
It's a tough call but a 3-4 lb chicken at the store is $18.00 and the chicken board has applied for a price increase. They really want people eating bugs.

That sounds about like our feed store prices are here. But not the grocery store price.
