@VenomJockey A couple of new ideas learned, fly strip. I wonder if Vaseline fly paper put in chicken coop would provide a special treat to chickens and be safe for them? Yeah, I do have a strange mind, deal with it?

I read this in the comments. I thought it was interesting.

My Grandfather served in WWI in Europe. At that time one of the leading causes of death was…your feet rotting off because of constant cold, stagnate water in the trenches. Blood Poisoning was rampant and Sulfur Drugs were invented in 1935. Grandy credited his father for saving his feet and life by giving him that large jar of Petroleum Jelly.

Petroleum jelly can be used to make plastic explosives if you mix it with potassium chlorate (weed killer, also from road flares) in the correct proportions.

If you use it to protect your feet, vaseline carbolated is best...except that it won't be as combustible.
