As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:

China — Muslim 1%-2%

The attitudes are changing all over though. You see far right candidates getting more votes and some actually winning.
I personally think trump is a loud mouthed braggart with no sensible plan or sound reasoning. So does a little more than half the country. The reason he won is so many are sick of the far left. It was kind of like jumping from the frying pan into the fire though. We literally had to choose between two really crappy choices here. Who knows, maybe going far right might be ok, as I know far left wasn't working either. Sure wish a decent honest person could have a chance at running.

Trump is one of the most flawed people EVER to enter politics BUT (1) He loves America (2) He is an uber patriot (3) He puts the United States and the american people first, for those reasons alone he like our Nigel Farage, Germanys Frauke Petrie, Frances Marine LePenn Hollands Gert Wilders are the ONLY options we have.
