HF 40 Meters

Well today was a great day for 40 meters! While operating from the car I was able to hit Bullhead City, Arizona from the south end of Los Angeles County. Not a huge distance, but when you think about how crapy the bands have been of late it does make your day a bit.

I hope the band will fix themselves soon so we can all get back on the air!

Very true! Yesterday (November 2, 2015) 40 meters was perfect! 20 meters was doing pretty well too.
I have also been able to get some 10 meter contacts the past couple of weeks.
I know 10 meters is open when I can here a guy out of Atlanta, Georgia. he is on 28.425 and his call sign in KC4TVZ.
He has some recording thing he uses to call CQ.... ALL day... EVERY day!!
