GMRS 50 Watt Mobile GMRS Radio

I was unsure of how well this radio would work, given it is a Baofeng, but I have been quite pleased with its performance. Given its size I am looking at making a GMRS Go Box with it.

I got a gmrs license to cover immediate family that are not licensed amateurs. Other than that I haven’t come up with any major benefits over a technician license. Do you have any gmrs users in your area?

There are some. The GMRS repeater near me I think I have heard 3 people on it. I much prefer ham radio over GMRS.
