I never got along with Mom or Dad either, certainly not the Pope!
"Because I said so." Without further explanation, has always been the signal for me to do the exact opposite, if for no other reason than to find out why. Not because I'm particularly a rebel, but because I need to know why! Once I do, I might even go along.
We as a species would never have amounted to anything without asking "Why."
No medicine, no industrial era, the Earth would still be flat and the Indians would never let us land here!
