I'm sure you guys have a museum dedicated to this man. Still I wonder how it would be possible to verify/confirm all those kills back then.

Regardless even if he did 1/10th what they say he did...it's still mind boggling.

If I were him I would have changed my name after the war and relocated as far from the Soviet Union as humanly possible. I'd figure it would have been open season after the war.
 
nope,too famous,they let him be´,he was after all just a simple farmer as he said himself :)

soviets were interested in mr L.Thorne /L.Törni,they even offered a bounty for him (never collected),why he left Finland,came to your neck of woods and joined your army
