First additions to Bobs, Day and GHBs for now, I've added masks, nitrile gloves and hand sanitizers to all the families bags (Bob, GHB, Day) for now. Will suppliment or remove as the situation progresses. My gut feeling is we are not getting the whole story on this outbreak.

I wouldn't worry too much Bill, only 2 cases in UK and no deaths and both those are quarantined.
I tend to keep a low profile in the winter anyway, my longer trips are all done in the summer.

I think these are good additions to your bags regardless of present circumstances. The gel alcohol-based sanitizer has multiple uses, too, because you can use it to make alcohol fuel.

My "Get Home Bag" consists of only what I can carry in my pockets. I work 8 miles from home, totally back roads. Lot of streams and woodlands between work and home (but also lots of houses). I am betting on the initial confusion and me moving fast (or as fast as I can at my age) getting me home before things fall apart. I do keep a few items in my truck, including a pocket knife and a box cutter. A couple tarps that can be used as a rain coat if need be. The only item that I absolutely will carry with me is a bottle of water. I want to travel light when trying to get home. Just my thoughts that will not work for everyone.
