It was the same with all these government schemes to trade in your old car for a new "eco friendly" one. All those only ones that people traded in got shipped over to Africa. People wouldn't believe how many old cars with EU country stickers on the boot are still driving around.

Same here. Old cars traded in on gubberment programs to get rid of gas guzzlers are still driving around on the road in Cuba and South America where cheap labor makes it economical to get them overhauled and maintained.

Its a harsh life over there. Everyone needs to help out and support the family. I think its great that they have that opportunity. Better than sitting around eating junk food and playing on the GD cell phone and computer.
