Came up (actually snook out from behind a mountain to the SOUTH). Came out at 11:40 AM. I'll be up on roofs all day shoveling snow, so hopefully I'll note when it sleeks away.

Maybe it was something I said?
I suspect the sun knows that you are a "Certified Alaskan Sourdough". It knows that while you may deeply appreciate its "radiance", you don't need it to survive.
I think it is up here but with the clouds and snow I wouldn't want to make any claims under oath.
Some of us do, especially those that had snowy winters when we were in high school and could go out, do stupid stuff, and learn how to drive in it before we got any sense.I saw pictures this morning of the snow in Ketchikan. Do they know how to drive in that stuff in the Deep South of Alaska?
One good way to get the snow off the roof. Was a 5.1 Quake.
Roughly "mid" way between Anchor Point and Port Alsworth. But 94 miles "DEEP". That is hard for me to imagine. Might be a bad omen for Mount Redoubt eruption soon.It shook my cabin pretty well. It was near Port Alsworth, so a long way away.
