Things have been well for me. Not a thing to complain about.

For those who don't know me, I'll gin up a little introduction here.

I live on a farm in SW Pennsylvania that was a dairy farm until 2000. I live at the "home farm" and my parents live on the next farm over. My folks own both places and my brother owns ~50 acres beside us but doesn't live there. I'm happily married with a 9 year old son. He is the 5th consecutive generation to live in our house. I work off the farm as a laboratory technician but we still grow hay and oats and raise some chickens.

We try our best to prep, and the more we learn the more we realize there is to learn.

As far as homesteady stuff, we make our own maple syrup, my wife is trying to keep bees, I've just started making soap, and she gardens every year.

I'm in my early 40s and my wife is a little later into her early 40s.

I look forward to rekindling old friendships and making new ones here.
