If you are looking around here is a source in Montana....if you want to order something I could go pick it up and test it out for a year or two......

We have got a lot of use out of the harbor freight portable garages for sheltering people and as a cook shack as well as storing stuff in all winter..

I currently have one of each of these up, I just have to knock the snow off if it gets too heavy. And tie them down really well against the wind.

I've been wondering how those portable garages work. I just don't think they'd hold up to our snow here. Now I'm thinking about getting an all metal one to park my tractor under. I'll need one about 12'×24'.

i wouldn't recommend one for heavy snowfall areas as they just aren't structurally that strong...The roof and the sides bow in with load...and in the wind they flap a bit but as long as they don't become a air born kite they have held together in 70mph winds for me. And just like a 4 season tent i tie mine down with multiple tie downs.
They are great for shelter from rain and sun and make a nice main camp shelter that is portable..
If someone has a broke down car or something they have to fix the canvas garage can give dry shelter and contain some heat.
