I've known people that lived by the hydration rule religiously and they always seem to have medical issues. I believe the two liters rule should incorporate common since and not make it a religious habit.

I just drink when I'm thirsty. I'm pretty sure that's the basic design of nature (drink when thirsty, eat when hungry).
