Forgot my manner for a few moments, gave out some likes but did not introduce myself. Live in the Arizona desert. Love summer months 115F + temps and hate the white fluffy stuff (snow).

Own a few firearms and plan to build a few to add to the collection. I tend to be a precision shooter without the talent needed but love to work at shooting sub MOA groups. All my long guns are scoped (except home defense shotgun). I am just starting to collect all the parts for my first AR 15 build. I have been shooting off and on for about 40 years but consider myself a amateur shooter, at best. I am also a recent transfer from the PS forum and happy to have found a new home.

Welcome to the forum :)

I am not a fan of snow but I also have no desire to deal with temperatures above 90F

Welcome to our new forum!!! It's nice to see another Zonie in our group and have some closeness here. Couple of people on be
here from Tucson (Handy), Reloader (although I haven't heard from him in a long time- from Tempe) and myself living in Mesa. You will find great people on here with a lot of info to share and just do a little leg pulling once in a while. Please remember that when we tease (leg pulling) it's all in fun. We mean no harm to anyone or their ideas. Grab a chair and jump right in!!!

Tommy........from the land of eternal sand...........yep..........called Mesa, Az.

Welcome to Tommy's friend....TMT Tactical !!

TMT, Welcome from the LAND OF THE WHITE FLUFFY STUFF(snow).
I spent my teenage years in and on the farms of Rainbow and Harquahalla Valleys went to school in Liberty, Winters Burg and Buckeye.
I've lived in Alaska for almost 24 years.

Welcome. When you start doing your AR build and have questions, be sure to post them up. I know of two here that are very knowledgeable (@BuzzinSATX and @Support Gunner) though there are probably more.

Welcome from Tucson. I like the snow but my arthritis doesn't. Hot tempts are great, last time in snow I walked like a rusted tin man.
