I'm still curious as to how a 20 something kid seems to know so much about making bombs. Granted, I knew my way around it a bit too at that age, but still, doing this with Home Depot supplies, either we're not getting the full story, or this kid is just a patsy. Even a "confession" message on his phone...

I think this kid snapped because of ______. I don't know what it was. Overwhelmed by the vulgar satanic lifestyle of austin? Girl issue? Frustration wanting a job? His parents were Christian, I only assume he was as well. He was at an age where his brain was still growing, still trying to figure out where he fits in the world. I know how difficult it can be for a conservative Christian in that city, I'll wager that was a key part of his implosion.

I know that future libs are going to use this example to say Christian home-schoolers can be dangerous. Ignore the 99%, they'll look at this guy and blame Christians and blame home-schoolers.

Granted, I likely could have done something like this at his age as well (as far as know-how). I had a great copy of the Anarchist's Cookbook... When a teen, I often played with explosives, fire, all kinds of stuff like that.

Look, I lived in a defense contractor (Lockheed) compound, outside Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (American kid though)...and my dad worked on stealth fighters, so yeah, I messed around with a lot of stuff then, hehe. I'm still amazed my buds and I never blew ourselves up (or burned each other).

As for motivation, could have just been to see if he could. Same reason we built half of what we did. It really could be that simple. (but doubt it, probably something snapped). We never had any inkling to hurt others with what we did.

They tracked His phone ping to a parking lot . By the looks of His Nissan pathfinders door He may have blown Himself up but He was shot to chit too .
