Fed up with our crazy government and BIG BUSINESS! Fed up with not knowing what they are feeding us at the grocery store! Fed up with people who use our government as an income stream they did not earn instead of getting off their lazy behinds and being productive members of their own community!
If you do not believe in "putting back more than you take"...well, you really will not like me! I am a 50 year old woman who believes that you reap what you sew, you should respect others space and property, and you need to read, write and do some math every day! I believe in a balanced life...encompassing wholeness...your relationship to "God", your relationship to your fellow humans and your relationship to your environment and I try to keep it in that order!
I "prep" for sustainable living where I tell the light company how much my bill will be, I give the local farmer my money instead of some company posing as a human for tax evasion purposes and the almighty dollar, I want to know the tomato I am buying did not involve unnecessary fossil fuel consumption because they are available local. Common sense trade, it is out there, we all know what it means...it is sustainable and not some wild roller coaster ride that a select few prosper on! I look at money like I look at fire, it is a tool that can be used for good or evil.
My definition of doomsday, is that we all may see a doomsday and survive it. It comes in the form of wind, water and other natural and man made catastrophes! I cannot prepare for everything...I have survived 4 tornadoes and some pretty rough personal tragedies, I am alive and pretty healthy and as hard as it can be some days to get off the couch and "put back more than I take", I do, because there have been days I could not! I do believe in the Bible and what it says about God's plan for humanity and the end times. The Bible says those days will be tough...and, things are getting tougher every day. I for one will stay optimistic and think that sustainable living will make a difference in my life and all the ones around me who embrace that optimism!
