During my last foraging expedition, I became proud owner of ten pounds of these things, now it being my favorite snack, I'll be eating the hell out of them, but as I left the "Getting place" I saw a whole jug of Mama Dolice's pickled firecrackers and inspiration ran up and kicked me in the butt, well maybe it was that retarded kid in isle three, but I grabbed a gallon of white vinegar and checked out. I'm cold pickling these babies in the fridge in a quart jar. straight white vinegar +a dash of minced garlic +a jalapeno pepper pod. the vinegar is already pink after two weeks. my pickled hot dogs are a scream, but look funky. next time I get too lazy to cook, I'll let you know!
