Guilty on all 3 counts.

It's a sad day. No, I don't think he's innocent, I think he did this dozens if not hundreds of times & deserves to rot in jail. What is sad is that this man was a leader, a role model for millions of young men. And his lust and arrogance has denied so many young men of a hero to look up to.

Yet another example of a poverty.

Justice was slow here, but glad it finally got served. The first accusation I heard about I figured a gold digger, after all this was America’s dad! The second or third accusation I still thought he might be innocent. By the tenth plus accuser it pretty much cemented my opinion of the sick _uck. Like squirt gun said, when your rich there are easier ways to get laid, this was purely the actions of a sick *******.

I used to like him way back. I remember in high school my cousin playing his album "200 M.P.H." and we laughed til we cried. And of course in "I Spy."

His story about Carol Shelby and The Car in 200 M.P.H. was true, maybe embellished for comedic effect, but it really happened. Shelby did give him that car, a CSX 3303 Super Snake, one of only two CSX 3000 Super Snakes ever made (Shelby kept the other), and Cosby really did give it back when it scared him to death. (The car had TWO Paxton superchargers:eek:) The next owner of the car lost control and drove it off a cliff into the Pacific and died.

I too enjoyed his shows while growing up. People can put up an image for the world to see, making it difficult to see the real person behind it. Even Robin Williams comes to mind. He seemed so happy and yet fought major depression his whole life.
I had never heard the story about the Shelby before. I wonder if the other one is still in existence?

According to Wikipedia:
Shelby used his CSX 3015 as a personal car over the years, sometimes entering it into local races like the Turismos Visitadores Cannonball-Run race in Nevada, where he was "waking [up] whole towns, blowing out windows, throwing belts and catching fire a couple of times, but finishing." CSX3015 was auctioned on 22 January 2007, at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event in Scottsdale, Arizona, for $5 million plus commission (£2.8 million), a record for a vehicle made in the U.S.

It was bought by Arizona business man Ron Pratte who is a personal friend of Carroll Shelby. I assume he still has it.

BTW, the car has 800+ HP.

I did not know until recently that the story was true, I thought he just made it all up.

A friend had brought over a record after school. Can't remember the name of the album, but it had his "Noah" on it. We laughed so hard on that one. . . :). Brings back memories. Shane for what he did, but in reality i'm glad that justice is finally going to be served. Those poor women. . . . and he walked around all those years thinking he had a right to do that because of his name. . . I don't care who you are or think you are. Taking what is not rightfully given us rape.

His standup is still hysterical. I can enjoy it despite him being a horrible person.
