I only rode in a helicopter once, (tourist flight).
Woulda given anything to balance the blades, it shook terribly. :(
If I had to fly in one again, I would hope that it was one of these below...
After Russian troops invade the USA, they would mobilize anything, and everyone, to fight back:

...And you thought I couldn't get classical music into any post. 🤣

I've also only been in one helicopter in my life - one of those "Flight For Life" medical choppers. I was doing a paramedic clinical in the hospital ER and they asked if I wanted to go along as an extra pair of hands. We took off from the roof of the building. Maybe six stories high? Too long ago for me to remember exactly. One minute you're slowly moving a few feet off the "ground" (roof) and the next you're heading over the edge and I swear the pilot must have tilted that thing at a 45 degree angle either to get going faster or to scare the **** out of me. That second part worked. My heart skipped a couple of beats as the "ground" suddenly fell out from under me. It was one of those Alouette choppers. Those are what are used here, because they can easily go into the high mountains (I guess their ceiling is higher than some other helicopters?) They have a big area of glass up front so your view is wide open. Especially when you launch yourself over the edge of a tall building!

I have been in dozens of helos, this is the only one that gave me pause.

Only ride I took in a helo… about 1980. All the chopper pilots in the offshore oil business were vietnam vets. My relief was late and had to fly out to an oil rig for crew change. It was late in the day and I was the only passenger back to the beach. The pilot had me ride up front with him. Guess he noticed because he asked ‘ever been in a helo?” “No” Then he said ‘since it’s just us lets have some fun!’

It was a 40 minute flight to Sabine Pass tx… and we had fun! Better than any roller coaster I’ve ever been on! At one point we were so close to the water I could see startled flying fish taking off. If there was a boat or rig he could buzz, he did it! I had a blast! 🤣 Sort of bummed I never got to do it again...

My one way flight to shock trauma in Baltimore after a smash into a telephone pole, unconscious, was my only ride on a helicopter. They say I was combative upon being extracted from the vehicle 🚗 sounds about right.
