Ya, I was referring to the DM choice of words "African appearance" leaving a question mark.

What I don't understand is when they were trashing the police cars why the cops didn't shoot a few of them, or at least capture a few!!

Gotta love the coverage. They show pictures of police arresting guys, and state "unrelated". Implying they're actually doing something.

But what do you expect in a country where people are banned from arming themselves for self-defense? It did mention some of the victims were 'armed', but I doubt that means firearms. And not one arrest with the whole string of crimes... what a surprise.

If a few of these 'africans' showed up in the morgue, these sorts of crimes would disappear like magic.

"Blacks" is used in Australia to refer to Aborigines. That's probably why the article says "of African appearance."
