nice for a static "living in" vans but no good for travelling down Devon's deep narrow lane's-it'd get stuck on the first bend.
We have a bit of space around here, so traveling wont be a problem, have been to England and Ireland know fisrt hand what you're saying. [emoji1]

lovely :)

not that my licence allows me to drive anything big like that, but then again, who's checking when things go doo-doo?

Those didn't look long enough nor heavy enough to get an endorsement class license least here anyways. Only a couple of states require a class B license generally if over 40 feet or over 26klbs but in the big majority of states the regular drivers license is sufficient.

with my B license I can drive vechiles up to 7700 lbs, after that it takes C license here
and the funny part is I have AB license, which gives me permit to drive motor cycles, and they can be big, doesn't matter that my experience is more or less 0 of them, but I could just walk in to shop with a bundle of money and buy one, propably I would be an organ donor quicker than I could sneeze ;)

16tons on a UK licence are you sure? I thought the normal British driving licence allowed up to 7.5 tons!!

They are nice. But I'll stick with my ATV and a couple tarps. Got a small trailer for the ATV that will carry anything I might need if I ever had to bug out.

That's pretty much what I'm doing, I wouldn't be planning on taking main roads, maybe in a pre-shtf but I get to my destinations going off road providing I have to leave the property.

got first dibs on a small trailer, wife's friends relative is buying a bigger one and says I can have his old metal one when he gets the new one.

I'm looking at our local golf course of all places for PA transport, I notice they have a few Kawasaki Mules and Trailers plus some electric golf buggies with solar panels on their roof, twood be nice to recce silently in a vehicle after TSHTF, You can even get road legal versions if you have a budget.

Really like these, but around here they have gone insane with the prices on them.

Just about everything coming out of Japan and Korea has got expensive lately, heck the price of new cars in general is just stupid. I think if I can ever get a new car it will have to be a budget Dacia Duster SUV, The base model brand new is only about £9K its only 4x2 but its got good ground clearance and traction control and its £3K cheaper than a smaller more dated design Suzuki Jimny.

We've gone with Indian on this side, half the price as other similar models and so far so good no problems.

i like the Mules type of vehicle, some of them are road legal and can go a decent speed.

not here either,'cause those would propably be cheeper that the rest and they couldn't collect enough car-tax .

My neighbour has one of the new Dacia Duster its not the base model its a better spec model but still only cost under £12K and its got selectable FWD.

last time I checked what the want for a brand new Merc jeep here the prize tag was around 160 000 euros..liiiiiitle bit to much for me.
