not talking about your taste buds, I was referring to the fact that most British people no longer cook from fresh but eat convenience and take away food, this is another reason why we have an obesity crisis in the UK, its all the chemicals and crap that in this stuff, I refuse to call it "food".
Post SHTF this stuff wont be available, if they don't know how to prepare and cook proper food from scratch survival isn't going to be an option.
not my problem but it should make the survival numbers interesting.

it's sad actually, still remember when I was a kid how fun it was to cook together with my dad,yup he tought me how to, and took me through the first steps.
it's not going to end well..

mother taught me the basics but I learned most when I lived on my own, we didn't have all this convenience crap then and it was cook from fresh or go hungry.

those who don't learn the basics, they don't know what they miss, taste is far superior when cooking from fresh than a ready made.

convenience food is just laziness, processed food is full of chemicals and other crap.
a vast majority of convenience food has palm oil in it and once its processed its known to cause cancer.
