I have a Bear & Son butterfly kicking around here somewhere...made in the USA and very well built.
Yeah, they can be a mite painful to learn to use correctly. I think it only took one flip of the blade on the back of my finger before I learned where the blade was before I tried opening it.

Looks good, but it does not work well in close quarters or grappling on the ground.

I sell leather, a drizzle is not good ju ju for my stuff. Others stayed but I can not risk water stains on my new stuff
So I did the old windshield rain 6666 test
I spit on a windshield and draw a square 6”x6”. If more than 6 drops hit inside the square in 6 minutes
It is a rain out

I'm pretty good with butterflies actually. How thick and long is the blade, how many do you have? Do you have any without holes in the blade? I'm looking for a weightlifter's belt, extra heavy duty.

Used to play with these quite a bit- learned to be much more worried about my unprotected feet flipping the knife around the house than the fingers everyone worries of. Guess how I learned that?
