hmm...we were on our own for 2 weeks here, with no warning due to a hurricane a few years ago, no electricity or water, (or government handouts for me. others stood in lines with their cars running for hours). I think most "preppers" can survive 2 days. I have at least a years food supply and also a hugh water supply that could last me at least 6 months.

I am good there, plus many more weeks!
It is my feeling though that those that need to be told never will take the time to fend for themselves and will then come a knockin!
