I have a stock of butter in my freezer from a sale before the virus. I am thinking about canning it to make freezer room for something else. Anyone here can butter?

I know Danilgrl has. I got a second chest freezer so I have one for meats and the other for vegetables, cheese, butter, etc.

I always refrigerated after opening.

Once canned when you open does it require refrigeration or is it shelf stable like Ghee?
In a way. When canned it is basically room temperature butter so spreadable (soft but not liquidity). It hardens back up if fridge.Does it get hard again?
DD, @GeorgiaPeachie says she pressure cans hers which makes sense. She posted directions in the thread from 2014. Just didn't want you to miss.
