Didnt know your uniformed services kept their covers on indoors, our are not allowed to.
Not uncommon here kinda like Drill Instructors in our Military.
If you wear your Beret or cap in a British Mil Facility you usually end up getting fined a pint of beer for everyone who was in the room when you entered. or a massive and very public telling off from the senior rank :0
Only a few can wear covers indoors in the Military here under specific and narrow criteria though in Law Enforcement it's left up to the individual departments on what the Uniform Code is for that department.
