The Buick Grand Sports were fast from the factory.
^^ Reminds ya of a 60's era Chevelle or even a Olds 442 ^^
That's a '69. Fortunately those were rare. Remember, they didn't have 'Buick' engines.
They dropped Hi-Perf Oldsmobile big-blocks into those like they were bubble-gum.
Remember the Olds engines were used to slinging 6000 pound yachts around.
That 400 Olds engine that ran on 100 octane premium leaded gas could hand you an ***-whipping real quick:eek:.
Those engines were monsters, 4-foot wide from valve cover to valve cover and intake runners you could toss a tennis ball thru.

Like the Cutlass, they were bad-*** sleepers.
"You got outrun by a Buick!!!"
The only bad news: 8-10 MPG on premium:eek:.

Heavy Metal 1950 Ford...

Remember them on my street in the late 50's / early 60's...split windshield and push out side vents on front side windows.

Classic...

I plead guilty.
You ain't doing that in a Honda!

Much impressed with the retro dragster behind it:

Back when real men drove dragsters. If an engine blew, they were peppered with parts, oil, and flames coming off of it:eek:.

Saw one at my local dragstrip back in in '04. Had a good pic going until his Mrs stepped in:bang Head::
