Hi Mr Reed, it would be right and proper if you gave the site owner a chat before trying to help other folks out . His name is Clyde ,and he should be on later.
? Just joining and trying to be part of a public forum....This is a big deal here I guess so I may just remove myself.Never been part of a forum where others are so concerned about something so small.Didn't know I would need the owners permission to offer something up someone may need or want. Ashame people react to such a small thing in such a big way. I'm most certain I would have been a VERY productive member of this forum if given the chance.Good luck with your prepping guys and gals.

I AM SORRY YOU HAVE DECIDED TO REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THIS FORUM. It would have been pure courtesy on your part to speak to the owner of the site.

Okay well this all escalated way way too quick....

Justin - This site does require you to support the site to be able to access the classified area. This is pretty standard practice on smaller forums to keep the riff raft out (spam, unregistered suppliers, scam artists).

Mike - Justin did ask a very simple question, I don't see any reason why he should of had to bother Clyde with this question. It would have been a different story if he asked in a negative way.

Well someone has their panties in a knot. It's self explanatory that if you want to go into the VIP areas you need a paid membership. Otherwise talk to Clyde about advertising space.

Mike, you're fine and you were right, he did need to speak to Clyde before offering things for sale.

Bubba, you're fine too, you tried to smooth things over and things just weren't going to get smoothed.

Jeremy, the rules state that if you wish to place something in the classifieds, then you must have a paid membership, if you do not want a paid membership then please speak with Clyde about advertising space. It may not be how it's done on other forums, but it is how it is done here.

At what point are you allowed to be part of the classifieds and general discussion?
You are always welcome to participate in ANY conversation or start your own.
As far as the Classifieds go, those are in the VIP section. If you become a VIP member then you get added member benefits.
I hope this clears things up for you.
