Today we went to Essenita Clinic in Duluth, a place that usually provides excellent health care. During the check-in process, they asked us to sign the consent to treat and consent to release forms and pointed us to the electronic signature thingy. I asked "can't we read what we are signing first?". They immediately pretended to look everywhere, barely opening drawers etc, before giving up to vaguely read what they felt important from their screen (with great pauses between points). They then told us that the desk on the first floor should have them. This was happening at a desk that had at least 5 laser printers within 15 feet from the receptionist. Had I not recently read online about hospitals sneaking in the ability to "quietly" vaccinate within the consent to treat form, we would have signed and been on our way. But now, I really wonder what is going on. We went home with nothing to read. What really saddens me was the vast number of people going in and out of that huge place who apparently don't give a **** about what they sign. Be careful!

ALWAYS question! So Glad YOU did!
I was apparently the only person in a very long time that has asked for a form being nobody at registration even knew the spot those forms are supposed to be in. I understand going paperless, but damn.... Sheep everywhere, and these sheep have apparently made friends with the wolves...

When I had surgery last year they tried to do the same to me. But, like you, I read the form. Asked for the form on paper, to which I got a confused look. Ended up marking through all the crap, initialing and writing out CLEARLY, no vaccine, no flu shots, no shots or drugs of any kind without permission from me. A nurse came in and tried to change my mind, telling me I could die. Told her and the doctor firmly that I’d take my chances.

got into a FB discussion with a local woman trying to push a blood drive at a hospital/clinic >>> tried like HELL to cover up the fact that you aren't welcome unless you're totally up to specs on the COVID ....

she knew what was going to happen when some cluck went there for blood donating - they all have 5th Degree "persuaders" on staff for getting people to take The Needle - lucky if you're not locked into a room for a few hours of "persuading" ....

and yesterday when it happened I left a review explaining it on google maps... Usually, when you do that, the HMFIC gets an email notification and typically responds because talking people into changing bad reviews is good business. Anyhow, nothing in response so I went to find my review... not there. When that kind of honest review is censored, conspiracy theory probability confirmed.
