I'd like to gather your opinions on the "Copper Fit" back braces, wrist guards, socks and other types of slings, wraps and coverings. I have a neighbor that will buy only Copper Fit stuff, and claims it works great, and has supplied me with a half dozen of these wraps. For the life of me, they don;t work any better or worse that a non-copper slings, wraps or coverings.

I'm here to ask your opinion, and is there any medical benefit to this copper infused threading?

I used the knee brace for about a year, stop eating so many pepper & tomato seeds, no egg plant helped.
But once I went on a low carb & high protein diet, I lost 40 pounds, helped more than anything I have done in the last twenty years.
I do not wear a brace now & I am twenty years older than I was when I wore a brace.
NOTE: I am not a doctor, nor do play one on T.V., you do what is best for you.

Up front I have to admit I have little experience with these copper braces. Got one for hubby a few years back for his wrist and it did work well for him. I personally wore one on my knee to help after messing it up from running too much. It did help me. I only fast walk now. It works just as well and doesn’t bother my knee.

Joel, weight is one of the most important factors in so many aches, pains and diseases. Nothing beats low carbs and high protein in my humble estimation. My body does not process many carbs well at all. If I stick to veggies I grow and cut out all white flour, rice, sugar and such my body absolutely thrives!

If your body needs copper copper will help, I don't know about building it into braces, a simple copper plumbing collar sized to fit you finger will tell you some enough, if your skin turns green at the contact point you are absorbing copper from it, no reaction, it is just a decoration

One of my friends swears by copper - he wears a copper wrist band always. Personally, I consider this "works for him" to be more psychological than medical. But even if it is only psychological - if you think it works, then that means it works. So that's good. There's absolutely nothing wrong with using your brain to improve a situation. I might be in a bad mood, decide to watch a comedy movie, and come out laughing and happy afterwards. That is 100% psychological - but it worked to improve my mood. That's a treatment success, even if it's not considered "medical".

I had a copper amulet I used to wear, and for a few years I got nothing, then one day I got up to a green pentacle on my chest. LOL I'd mount a couple of strips to some spandex and try it out on my ankle or someplace out of the way.

@havasu i have a wrapped cuff "bracelet" that i wear that is part copper. I wear it often. Sometimes when I haven't been wearing it and I'm at work, I will notice my fingers or the meaty part of my thumb will start bothering me, sometimes my wrist. I use my hands a lot, grabbing thick stacks of books, for one. So I put it back on and after several hours i notice it no longer is achy. Hocus pocus? Placebo? I think it works and have used it in other times as well. Copper might not be what you need, maybe you need magnesium or potassium, or calcium. I get a blood work up done at least once a year and they check those levels.

We each have a charge. If you go barefoot a lot on natural turf (dirt, grass, etc) you ground/neutralize your charge. Many people don’t like to go barefoot &/or maybe are naturally neutral. I think 🤔 the folks who have a tendency to be + or - possibly benefit more from the copper.
I’m not a doc just my opinion.
