i have posted about this long ago at another place and time. i seen this in early a.m. and i find it interesting the various ways people adapt to provide for their daily needs.

there is a book called the Sporting Chance by Mannix. In this book there is various ways to harvest game. Cormorants, seals, ferrets, falcons. Also crossbows, blowguns, bolos etc. There are a lot of methods that fall under a radar.

@randyt what i find very interesting is the old guy at 87years is still doing it. i mean floating on a skinny bamboo raft is no easy thing...much less at 87 years.

if you notice too he doesnt sit on it flat either. in second picture you can see his little elevated seat...i say that might be adaptation for age? getting up off floor gets harder as we age. so it makes me wonder about that a bit..plus it keeps him dryer as well from overflows coming on board.
