They are out of their flipping minds!!! Stealing farmers lands because of their SKIN COLOR?!!! They are asking for an all out war.
I wonder if they plan to station the military at these farms to help protect all these newly transitioned farmers? There are going to be a lot of really p.o.'ed farmers and ex-farmers. I wonder if the Democrats are really hoping to re-invigorate the past Night Riders? This has got to be one of the stupidest concepts since the civil war.
i just skimmed over that. The only reference to obtaining land from private ownership is in section 203 subd (a) part (1) on page 26 and clearly states "purchase from willing sellers". I do not agree with this bill at all, but could you please point me to the page that mentions seizure or forfeiture from private owners not taking part in said program?

If "Eminent Domain" is authorized, then these are not willing sellers. The next point is why should tax payers fund buying this land at all? The offer of zero interest loans, no payments for the first year should be enough incentive for people that actually want to be farmers.
Agreed, just another example of socialism. Again, opinions aside, where in those 78 pages is eminent domain mentioned? Propagation of misinformation to politically bias is just as bad as the socialism this rotten bill supports. Everyone here likes the idea of honest news. Has anyone that commented on this post read this BS bill or has everyone stopped at the large font and eminent domain as purported by NationalFile.com?
I'm just a supporter of the idea people should know why they hate something. Reading just the headline as written by who knows who and suddenly becoming an expert on the subject is why this country is so ****** up. The left does it to the right and the right does it to the left.
I understand what they are doing. They are taking your money and giving it to any black that thinks they are at a social disadvantage. Thats total crap. But nowhere in that bill does it say they will seize land from legit land owners via eminent domain as the headline suggests. The only place eminent domain is mentioned is in the headline of the article written by nationalfile, I could not find it in the 78 page bill.
Do we choose our news sources based on red vs blue, if we like the message regardless of truth, or do we do the research and find legit reasons to not like something? I am a republican. But at the end of the day, I don't care how red a news agency is if they start an article with a lie. How are they any better than CNN in that case?
The bill sucks, no doubt. They didn't need to make up some garbage like that just for a guy on the right to hate the bill. What they are doing is trying to shift the opinions of democratic farmers to make some of the blue votes red knowing that, without said eminent domain lie, they would not give a shat. Thus, whether the bill is good or bad, nationalfile just did something that is no better than what facebook and CNN do daily.

I am just curious where you think all this extra farmland is in America? Does government have that much laying around?
I have not read it. BUT, it doesn't take a genius to see that when gov't "GIVES" something to one group, it must pay for that 'gift' via taxes taken from other groups. That's socialism/communism. And it's racist. The feds have millions of acres of sand out west. The land itself has a value of $0. Absolutely nothing. They can farm 'sand'.
As I've said numerous times, gov't needs to get out of the welfare system. Let people survive/thrive based on their own actions. And let private charity be the rescue blanket for those who fail. True charity, not stolen taxes pretending to be charity.

If the land is not available, it obviously cannot be given away.
I do not know whether they will legally obtain this land, re-purpose state and/or federal lands, or, as suggested, outright steal it. But to proceed with and spread assumptions motivated by political bias is downright foolish. Just as foolish as the bill in question.
The point I am trying to make is simple (and being clearly ignored because it is not liked). That is the FACT that, regardless of whether you are on the left or right, the only news people like are the stories they like and give little to no effort to personally fact check them.

I agree with what you say, but at the same time, what I said is accurate! Remember, "We must pass the bill, to see what is in the bill", or "you can keep your plan and your doctor"? While most politicians are crooks, I truly believe the left has the majority of them! I also admit I have not read the bill, as with any kind of reparations, it is hogwash and racist!
There is an upside to this though. If this thing were to pass, that is just one more black privilege you can throw at a black person when they comment about white privilege. The list is growing every day! It is our job to catalog these black privileges and fire back when they play the same old card over and over. We have failed at that thus far. Sure wish I was 6'7", 230lb of muscle, having every sports team begging for me and be a shoe-in for any job even when there are more qualified people (of any color but black) and have hot chicks all over my 12" rooster. The funny part.... they claim the incarceration rates are disproportionately black, yet nobody mentions how sexist toward males the department of corrections is. LMFAO

From all my readings and research, White Privilege is only a state of mind! You can not buy things with it, it is inanimate! Even a left wing researcher stated this, I will look her name up and post it later. Black Privilege IS something you can buy things with, then even more! But every time you bring it up, you are branded a racist and a liar! Even with Police shootings of blacks, 3 times as many Whites are shot and killed by Police than blacks every year and this stat has held true for decades! But, like you, I will quit now, only gets my blood pressure up and nothing gets done about it anyways(not my blood pressure).
Please note: In my post I said "If" Eminent Domain was authorized. I did not state it was authorized. Miss-characterization by either side is still a lie but I can understand why some decide to fight fire with fire. The right is now using the same tactics the left has employed for many years --- Lie or miss-characterization. Works for the left, and it will work for the right. Bad bill and it needs to be completely stopped. Pissed off Democratic farmers works for me.

20+ years later the SA Gov is begging the White Farmers to come back and take over the defunct farms they were expelled from with just minutes to gather their belongings. They were led away from their farms at gun point and many were killed for non-compliance. Seems giving people land and equipment is not enough to make them actually have a successful farm.
If this plan is implemented here, with farms purchased from willing sellers, you will have the same problems. 90% of the farms will fail in the first 2 years.
Farming is not something you do on a whim. It is generational. Those who are raised on farms are the one who are successful and even then, it is a hard life of toil, and disappointments.

May I point out that when they did that in Rhodesia and South Africa the United States thought it was a good idea to give the land to the blacks.
BTW remember I warned you, next it will be " Each according to their need" IE white couple will be evicted from their 4 bedroom home and house in a one bedroom apartment and a family of 4 blacks will be given the white home.
How about another thought. This is a diversionary tactic to take away some focus from election fraud. Let's stop this discussion, it's pointless. Focus on the fraud. We can laugh at this after Trump is reconfirmed.

Reading all the previous comments , i have lived in Africa for 50 years , this is how the land redistribution willing seller willing buyer started being introduced in South Africa, after 26 years not a great deal happened in fact most of the locals want the money instead of the land , the government is about to distribute 700,000 Hectares of so called Government owned land , SA it is slowly coming to look like the Zimbabwe land grab, where it will be taken FOR FREE ( by those in power , not the people it is intended for ), yes you must stay on top of this by building a legal structure to fight this for your own sakes or it WILL happen, those that think it will never happen ,:WTHeck:as the saying goes : bury your head in the sand the problem goes away :ar15::ar15:
