With the state of health care and the country in general going to hell, wouldn't it be a good idea to find out who these people are and make friends. Yeah, some MIGHT actually be WITCHES, but if your baby is dying of thrash and they know how to cure it, do you care? "Faith" doctors used to bolster their healing skills with prayer. Now being a Pagan, apparently don't effect this verse from the bible a bit.
Ezekiel 16:6

Know what it does? it stops blood.
There's LOTS of things out there like this, Christian, Pagan, Heathen, Buddhist even! I think its time we learn them and use them! Learn the herbs and how they're used and prepared. Learn the different kinds of alcohol spirits and tinctures, read "ditch medicine" and grow an herb garden. investigate the "faith cures" and seasons, dig into your old farmer's almanacs, we were given this stuff for a reason, its time we use it!

If things really fall apart and there is no formal medical care the people who aren't even trying to learn stuff now will have money that is not worth anything, no skills for gardening or food preserving, they will lack the flexibility to adapt and I will not trust them to take them in or show them what I have, generally speaking.
I hope there are a few good people that will be around.
But meanwhile while things are still relative normal I will leave a bag of zucchini on their door step.

What a pessimistic thread.

It's a public forum so all sorts of things will pop up from the wide variety of people involved. This is called conversation and discussion.
Many people on this forum have actual experience with things that others can not conceive of.
Medical problems in the coming times will be a depressing challenge for some. I personally have seen gangrene cured with natural herbs when "doctors" wanted to cut a persons legs off.
There are many interesting upbeat posts on this forum or people can post their own optimistic threads.
