I have talked to machines for 47 years, mostly after hitting it to get what ever I paid for, that is stuck in the delivery slot.

I turned mine off, the thing my brother had would giggle sometimes in the middle of the night with nobody up talking to it or say weird stuff when it was left alone like "I miss being dead!" or random mathematical stuff. Who or WHAT was it talking to?!

Someone told me that their father woke up in the middle of the night and whispered something to himself, Siri answered, in a whisper. I don’t use those things either. One of the girls does. Sometimes we (myself or another daughter) can trick it by making ourselves sound like the owner.
