Drone attack on Saudi Arabia is a 'turning point' for world fuel supplies, experts warn, as oil prices spike 10 per cent in biggest overnight surge since Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1991

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...rabia-turning-point-worlds-fuel-supplies.html

  • Drone strike on Saudi refinery and oil field interrupted daily supply of 5.7million barrels, sending crude oil soaring by 10 per cent on Monday
  • Gas prices could rise by 24 cents per gallon, depending on length of disruption
  • Experts warned drone strike is a 'turning point' for security of world's fuel supply
  • President Trump raised spectre of war in the region when he tweeted that US 'is locked and loaded' as fingers were pointed at Iran

This may work out well for everyone. Apparently SA was trying/planning to reduce their production to increase prices.

So SA produces less oil & gets less money to fund terrorists, the USA produces more oil & gets higher prices per barrel, muslims are going to kill other muslims. I call this win-win-win-win-win.

I note with a strong sense of irony that those countries who have been slagging off Trumps America are now saying "" its OK America will give us the oil we need"" The two faced effing !"£$%^&*()(*&^%$£"£$%^&*(

be interesting to see what happens at the pumps, but my fuel needs aren't huge so I can absorb any rises.

Me too. I fill up once every six to eight weeks. Being a semi-hermit does have it's advantages.

£1.29 a LITRE(5 litres to a gallon) here last week, i'll see what it is later. I top up my tank as soon as it gets to half full never let it go below that, costs me about £20 per week.
