I forgot about it until this morning when I woke up to see my clock radio 1hr ahead of my PC clock.my 1st thought was oh great darn thing is messed up. Then it dawned on me to what's going on while I was getting my morning coffee started.

Sun rose when it was supposed to. It didn't pay any attention to what the clock said.

Since I retired, I don't really look at the clock much anymore unless I'm supposed to meet someone...or get to a restaurant before it closes.

Besides, when I do want to know what time it is, I look at my cell phone and the time pops up on it (damned thing knows when I'm looking at it, I'm not kidding!) And the time change is automatic on it.

Doesn't matter what time it is to me. Since I retired 3 years ago time has become irrelevant. The only time that matters is when the wife fly's in. And then she calls to remind me to pick her up.

I wake up generally early roughly around 2:30- 3, get my early morning chores done, I don't even own a watch nor even an alarm clock, the only clocks in the house is Lisa's o'l German cuckoo clock collection, Lisa and the kids plan their day around 'time', I plan my day around what needs done and sleep when done though the older I get seem to be quitting earlier these days.

We have 2 alarm clock radios. In which I have no idea to when either alarm last got used. I stopped wearing a watch I dunno how many years ago. There's a clock of some sort in almost every room of the house. And the one on my phone. So I know the time when I'm curious enough. My last full time job required me to be up at 6am.been getting up at that time ever since.
