Disney slaps content warning for 'outdated cultural depictions' on classic animated movies

Disney+ users noticed that some of the company's classic content such as “Dumbo” (1941), The Aristocats (1970), “The Jungle Book” (1967) and the original “Lady and the Tramp” (1955) all contain a warning at the end of their respective descriptions. These warnings caution sensitive fans that what they are about to watch contains racial portrayals that might be triggering.

OMG, are the people SO sensitive? Just go back and sue Abraham Lincoln and all his grandchildren. If anything, those films are living proof of how far America has tried to and partially been able to integrate the different races in the US. Look at the important problems facing America NOW and shut the F up finally about the past.
You cannot make PROGRESS FORWARDS if you spend all your time and energy looking BACKWARDS. Gimme a break, GP

Oh heck what do they say about Fantasia and all the nudity?? No child would take offense to any of the Disney movies. . . It's their parents who grew up in a college that had safe rooms and therapy dogs. . . .

There are quite a few Disney shows or movies my kids didn't watch.

It wasn't because of PC crap. It was because Disney likes to portray parents as complete idiots in the show's. Especially the fathers.

We have never been to a Disney theme park and don't believe I missed anything.

Funny story (well it is to me) one of my died in the wool Church of Christ friends saved and saved to take her family to Disneyworld and it happened to be the week Disney was celebrating gay pride. She said there was some odd things going on in the pool so she made the family get out.

Well slap my mouth, poor lady, try to do your best and get served something like that. God works in funny ways. Maybe he wanted to tell her to look closer what she shows the kids now. Hope she did get them out in time before she had to find funny answers to funny questions. Sick world. GP

I heard about this. I guess it's not surprise, given the current idea that everything that certain people don't agree with should be banned. The surprise is that they included them at all. You would think people would know and understand historical/cultural context but I guess they don't if they never actually learn history.
