I am starting a poll to discover if anyone would love to display their pride in DPF by wearing a cap, a T-shirt or either a sticker or patch that can be applied to whatever you like. The T-shirt and cap would have a DPF graphic that has not yet been created. DPF members will be able to vote on the design and at some point may be able to submit a design of choice and that will be voted on.
I have always displayed my pride of various things either with a T-shirt or cap and thought I would suggest it to see how many other members would also like to display DPF on a shirt or cap. The sticker or patch will also have the same DPF graphics. The price for this has not yet been established but you can be sure there will not be a profit. Proceeds will go to DPF to keep it going and support the boss in all his great efforts and work he has done with DPF.
The poll will last for 24 days.

No, I wouldn't. Not because I'm embarrassed or ashamed, but because I believe in being a little bit of a "grey man". I don't have bumper stickers or 2nd ammendment t-shirts, I try to be circumspect when I buy things, I try not to have controversial conversations with people that I don't know.

If (or when) SHTF, I don't want to be known as a prepper by everyone in the world.

Anyone whom would wear something like this who doesn't live in the middle of nowhere would either have to be completely oblivious or semi disturbed. I see absolutely nothing good coming from marketing oneself as a "doomsday prepper".

no bad in a moralepatch of some sort, but something indicating you prep, could get you in a seriously bad spot in shtf situation.

Hmmm my original post has disappeared !!! I wrote that I would prolly buy a patch for my patch collection but I would not routinely wear a anything that defined me as a prepper. I prefer the gray man approach, but I do have the International prepper symbol patch on my rucksack when attending prepper events. It is very discrete and only 25 mm wide

No big deal wearing something like this. Anybody who would identify/target you because of something like that....already has you lined out anyway. 'Those' guys are already in targeting mode looking at what you wear, drive, eat....etc. A patch or t-shirt isn't likely to attract any extra attention. Unless, maybe you walk around wearing it with a load-out vest and tac helmet. Then they'll probably just think you're a loon. Which can cause it's own set of problems. ;)
