I braid mine most of the time. Occasionally I'll do a topknot but I have a lot of hair so those get heavy. Low buns are ok as well. All depends on what I'm doing that day.

I'll have to show this to my wife. I'd say she has long hair. The photo below was taken near Christmas time.

DIY Summer Hairstyles

I wouldn't ever call that long hair. . . more like mid-length maybe? just under the shoulder length hair. Those would never work in the "long hair" world. I have hair down to my waist. Mid back to waist is when I consider it long hair.

Those are some good, quick hair styles for others though.

Cabin Fever is more my world

For me, long haired people either put it up in a ponytail or wrap it up in a clip, before they need to take care of a garden or critters. Around here, we don't do "summer hairstyles". Sorry, I did watch though.-
My hair is only down if hubby and I are out together. I am mostly in a braid! Cooler in the summer, less knots in the winter! My hair can actually get knotty in a braid!😮 Sometimes I do wrap it up with a hair clip.

My aunt had long hair for real. She kept it braided like Rapunzel and it would coil on the floor when standing. She had apron pockets front and back to hold them and to switch the weight around when working.

We were heart broken that she had to cut it off when she was older, because the weight of her braids messed up her neck and back.

As a young adult, I had waist length hair, but I have kept it shoulder length or a little longer most of the rest of my life. It is easier to wash and dry. For some years, French braids were something I wore frequently.

How many women get their hair cut when they have babies? Many!

During the pandemic, I didn't get my hair cut for a couple of years and it was irregular and a little ragged looking. I like healthy ends on my hair. When it gets longer, I am not a fan of the irregularity of the ends and the raggedness. I like the ends of be healthy. I trade dog care with a client for hair care. She helps to keep my hair looking healthy.

When working or playing, my wife typically keeps her hair in a double or single braid, or a bun.

Yes I do braid often too on my off days, Which are few and far between. I am not a bun person though 3 of my DILs are. The winds here been brutal the last couple days here. I basically just had the front part in a barrette. I brushed out my tangled hair before my shower. Had it been in a braid, would have been better. You wife is beautiful BTW. Giving you and wife a BIG RED HEART. Sorry I can not find it in what? Emojis?

That’s amazing. I had hair to my rear, could sit on it. I wanted to see how long I could let it grow. I had to cut it- was getting head/neck aches.
