I am not happy about this. Donald Trump specifically said the Keystone pipeline would use 100% American steel. Now it turns out at least 40% of the steel will come from outside the U.S. As the grandson of an American Steel worker this really hits close to home for me. My grandfather's decades of hard work is what brought our family out of poverty.

I thought we could trust our new president but I guess I was wrong. Maybe he will redeem himself somehow but for now not too trusting. It's times like this I'm glad I'm prepared.
 
I don't like Trump, but he has at least kept most of his campaign promises and stuff.

You can thank Democrats and spineless Republicans (and unions) for making policies over the last 40 years that forced closure of much of the US steel manufacturing. Trump didn't lie. If the steel isn't available in the US then the pipeline companies must source the pipe wherever they can.
