Looks like I am heading to Jackson to Drill school then off to Ft. Benning to where it all began!

Congrats on your selection! A job I wish I would have stayed active duty to get! How long is the school these days?
How many places does the Army now have for Basic Training? I went through FT Dix, NJ then Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD
Appreciate it everyone. Drill is 9 weeks at Ft. Jackson. The places you can do basic now are.
Ft. Jackson-South Carolina
Ft. Benning- Georgia
Ft. Sill- Oklahoma
Ft. Leonard- Missouri
I am 11c (Infantry Mortarman) so I will be going to Benning, back to Sand Hill where all Infantry start.
Pretty excited for it. Learn a lot and be able to influence people.

Yeah I am excited to go. Was one of the things I wanted to do with my career. It'll be a good experience for sure!
