my gerber to bulky to me.when it comes to my pants pocket.so it stays on my belt.and same goes for my utility knife as well..and i've put both to enough use.my mom dont say any thing.and i do draw the line with tape measures thoe.only time id have one on me in town.is because im going into lowes or some place else, when i need to measure something, for what ever reason(s)...

I would agree, A multi tool and a pocket flashlight are two great tools to carry at all times. They just have to be small and light enough that we have no issue with having them on our persons at all times.

here's the flashlight i carry on me at all times.i got it at advance auto parts.i added the green clip so i can keep it on my belt loop..

Jim that lil flashlight looks almost identical to what I EDC, I keep it in my modified soft shell jacket along with a Gerber Legend multitool and a Blazer PB207 butane torch.

bet yours comes in very handy...i know that mine does..we have a cabinet in the kitchen, in which we use for canned foods.and then there's the shelves i built and a freestanding cabinet in the laundry room.i find myself using my lil flashlight time to time.i was having issues with it not wanting to stay lit,and the brightness for 3 or 4 days..then it dawned on me.the batteries must be low.so i checked them out.sure enough.now i have fully charged batteries in it..and yes its bright now..lol

I am amazed that some of you carry a Gerber every day? Very bulky for a jeans pocket and draws attention if worn in its pouch on the belt unless you are a person that would use it in their job such as myself when I worked

I used to wear it on my hip, in the pouch. I'm a bigger guy, and usually wear my shirt untucked, so it keeps the pouch hidden just fine.

But, I eventually got tired of the bulk. Instead, it just goes in my laptop bag, and I just have the pocket knife on me if I need anything.

It's just the mag and I chamber it when I load it. I Was raise "if it ain't ready to shoot it's a paper weight". When it isn't in my holster I do unload it and store it safely.
I always have a loaded mag, but never chamber. If you hear the slide, a loud bang follows immediately. Yes, there's a split second delay, but it's a lot safer. Too many have been shot accidentally.

Wonder how many are left at airports daily?
