I am at the point this very minute.
As I look at wraponsry. I am thinking 8 mm or 300wmag is to large and a 22LR is too small so the Swede will have to take up the slack as usual, reasoning being the concussion alone will cause damage

I’ve done that. She knew I wasn’t gonna stay. So one day I called a friend to help me move. I left her the bed, a nice TV, the VCR she bought me for Christmas, some furniture and a months paid rent. Was no problem until she went nuts and wanted me back. She was bi-polar. Way fun (and she did truly love me) but…. she could turn on me at any moment. Enough was definitely enough.

Set up to catch his brother
And every turtle in that pond dawg pulled my bait. They were every where
So I decided to play it smart and tossed the head to the far side of the pond
Kinda thinking to draw them off
Oh hell no!! Couple left but the majority stayed
Tossed a different line to a different spot
They flocked to it
After about an hour of this I pulled my 45
And started shooting at heads
L bastids were brutal they wanted my bait
The one cat was enough for my wife and I
I cleaned it then smoked it. Then ate iit

Maybe next time be prepared to feed the turtles a ways down the shore from where you want to fish?

I had turtle issues too once. Turtle is one of the few things I refuse to eat unless it's made right, frogs are another. ANYWAY, stick your fillet knife in one and drop him over the edge and the others will be too busy hunting him to bother your bait.
