I got the impression they were a little expensive, but not terribly so. I usually buy from the main companies with no loyalty towards any one other than when they have sales. Overall I believe mountain house is the best value normally and can be ordered on Walmart.com or amazon easily. My freeze dried supplies are a mixture of many brands now.

I thought the idea was to buy from many sources, that way if one batch has a problem you don't lose all your stockpile in one go.

Yes I have tried them. Its good quality. All there food and producks they sell that I have tried are good quality. There are a few other brands that are a better value perhaps, but not by much. Besides these, I have mouhtain house, wise, legacy, emergency essentials and augason farms.
