1.) What Household chore do you hate the most? Inside or outside.

Inside, it would be dusting, because it's a never-ending battle. Outside, probably raking leaves or shoveling snow.

2.) What is the scariest ride you have ever taken in your life? Land, Sea, Air, Other.

Baltimore, 1989. Wintertime, and we just had freezing rain so the roads were slippery. A friend gave me a ride to the bus station on his motorcycle. The wind across the Francis Scott Key bridge (the one the container ship knocked down) was so strong I thought he was gonna set the bike down.

3.) When the traffic light changes to Yellow, does your foot go for the gas or the brake?

Depends if there's a cop in sight or not. I hate standing on the brakes.

4.) What was your favorite job?

Being a parent! If you mean a for-pay job, probably the one I have now (software engineer).

5.) What would you like to be known for?

Being useful and not being a burden on anyone.

2.) What is the scariest ride you have ever taken in your life? Land, Sea, Air, Other. It was on the back of my b-in-laws bike - he forgot he had a passenger - nearly lost me on the Triborough Bridge
3.) When the traffic light changes to Yellow, does your foot go for the gas or the brake? Brake, not because I wont get through, but because some eejit on the other side will jump their green
4.) What was your favorite job? Working for a vet
5.) What would you like to be known for? Well a good singer is out of the question...I usually manage to muck up most things eventually, so I'm not sure!

Really dislike oven cleaning, and big shower scrubbing. Frown at unflushed toilets and trash left on the floor next to a trash can.
Scariest ride would be as a young girl when mom's drunk boyfriend picked me up from church and took me on a crazy ride. Ended up in a graveyard, don't know why.
The yellow traffic light...did I see it just turn yellow? That makes a difference.
Favorite job...owning the private school. Love working with kids

1. We have cleaning people, but I hate it when someone dirties a pot or pan, puts it in the sink "to soak" and then they or subsequent apartment dwellers put other dirty dishes, glass, silverware, etc. inside said pot. I don't know what I despise that, but I do.

2. Being evacuated out of a hot zone when the helo started taking fire and the aviator started shouting "oh ****" over and over after we took a few hits. I was sure we were going down, but we made it back in a very shaky and heavily damaged aircraft.

3. I want to slow down and be safe, but you know Charlene. She just has to let those horses loose and roar her way through that light like it's a white NASCAR flag and we're about to win the race. You can't tame a wild woman.

4. During the build up and peak of Covid, thanks to media fear mongering and individual insanity, I worked personal security for a wealthy and famous celebrity couple for around 20 months. I made a lot of money and the job itself was exceedingly easy.

5. I would just as soon unknown and unremembered, utterly forgotten to time.

OMG!!! Let me add the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to my list. I almost ruined a good pair of pants when we drove across that. Bridges don't normally bother me, but this one bothered me. A LOT!!

I avoid that one at all cost....last time we visited daughter I got in the wrong lane in Norfolk and next thing I see was " Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel" ....it was raining, we had a crappy little rental car and I missed getting over in time. So I was having enough panic to almost just pull over on the side of the interstate, but there was so much traffic we would never have gotten back on. Lucky there was an exit before the bridge and I turned around
Another one I drove a hundred miles out of my way to avoid: Astoria bridge between Washington and Oregon

Sorry, y’all. I’m slow in my recovery and not on top of things yet.
I love the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Either one. The one with the tunnel is pretty cool.

I can see maybe not being afraid of scary bridges but actually loving them I can't even get into my mind....wow
I have driven hundreds of miles out of my way to avoid certain bridges on our many trips. I did most of the driving because husband would rather sit in the truck and sleep LOL ( plus is a not great driver, he has issues paying attention)
I don't mind the concrete bridges to the beaches in Florida, even the 7 mile one in the Keys I am ok with. Old truss bridges across large rivers are the ones I really hate most, plus those bridge tunnels in Virginia of course.
There is another one that almost made me have a heart attack, near Lake Charles either in Louisiana or going into Texas on I-10 I think. It just comes out of nowhere and is very narrow and steep. After that one I google mapped every trip ahead of time to eliminate the worst of the bridges

1. What book or movie left a lasting impression on you? Soylent Green. It was a real eye-opener back in 1973 and I am amazed that the doomsday people today don't quote it constantly.
2. What do you think the purpose of life is? Have as much fun as possible while on planet earth! If you make it to heaven, it will be full of church-people, and there will be no gambling, drinking, cussing, or wild ***.
3. What is your favorite hobby? Back in my prime, I had too many to list. Today, it is entertaining people online and emptying beer cans.
4. Who is the least intelligent person alive? There are so many to choose from today, but I think 'Sleepy-Joe' still owns the crown.

Whew, you got Morgan off your back, lol!! 1) I could read at a first grade level at age 4, got to start kindergarten a year early! 2) I'd say a Unicorn, but then I think about Buddy's crabby days and wouldn't want him to have a horn!! So I'll go with fairies!! Why not one more annoying flying thing!! 3) Hit my head many times, but never knocked unconscious!! 4) By always saying thank you. And trying to reciprocate a good deed or paying a good deed forward! 5) My Mom traced her side back about 8 generations. She could find 5 generations on my Dad's side! I don't think there's any special bloodlines on either side!! Great questions Patchouli! Pass the buck!!

I was reading by 4yo, before I started 1st grade at 5
Hmmm more thought required
I think I did once. Was racing my dirt bike on a fire road tried to pass at a big mud puddle. Somebody had got stuck in a jeep and stuck a log in it to help get out. I hit it and it threw me off the road and I hit a dogwood tree. Buddy came back for me after a few minutes of me not showing up. I was laying in the middle of the trail moaning, and my bike still running. I assume I was out. Took a while to get my $h!t together and ride off the mountain and back home.
I try and always give thanks. Pay it back somehow if I can.
Wife has went back 6 generations on my moms side. 9 on my dads. I know for sure I have some Scottish and Irish decent

1. I have no clue, 1st grade maybe? I didn't care about books, only toy guns.

2. An honest politicians, no wait, that's just not possible. I wouldn't mind having my own personal golem. It would be better than a guard dog and I don't believe you have to feed them or clean up their poo.

3. A few times. Juvenile mischief, fighting, IED explosion, car accident as a passenger, general jackassery, etc. I remember one time rounding 2nd base and running toward 3rd with a pretty girl about 2-3 years older than me, in her bedroom when her parents were gone. I felt a hand grab my shoulder then WHAMO! I came around, her dad helped me up, walked me to his car and gave me a ride home. All he said was "don't come near her or my house again". His daughter and I snuck around for 2-3 months after that.

4. That's situational and highly dependent on the person or deity. It could range from a gift, existing in a state of thankfulness, paying it forward, working off my perceived debt, choosing not to provide retribution or exact vengeance, etc.

5. All the way back to pops. His parents were gone by the time I was old enough to understand who they were. I don't know anything about the other half of my conception/birthing team, let alone her ancestry. I presume they are all dead. I don't even know my grandmother's maiden name. I suppose I could dig into all this and come up with some answers, but have never really cared enough to do so.

1.) I was probably around 4. I was the first grandchild, so I was read to a lot.
2.) The Griffin. The combination of a lion and a eagle would be an incredible predator.
3.) No. Had my bell rung in the boxing ring, and the athletic field, but never knocked out.
4.) I reciprocate. When someone is kind or helpful, I will repay with kindness and helpfulness.
5.) Only about three or four generations; to around the mid to late 1800's. I know one of my great grandfathers worked at Ellis Island processing immigrants.

3. I was told I was knocked out as a baby...took the stairway down in a walker, knocked out, turned blue, rushed to the hospital. Of course, I don't remember any of it.

5. My family came here in the 1730's on the boat, The Charming Nancy. I am 10th generation here. It was the first amish boat that arrived.

1. I learned to read in first grade. We had an excellent teacher. Mom had taught us the alphabet but in first grade we learned the sounds the letters made. I was confused about that, but very easily made the connection.
2. I don't care about mythical creatures or mythology. Its not real and it has no importance.
3. I don't think I've ever been knocked out or unconscious except for medical procedures.
4. I show gratitude by helping people and being a loyal person to them. I can easily go the other way to people who lie and manipulate. I can lose trust in people very easily. Don't be duplicitous. It catches up with you.
5. Through my research, reading old records online, I have traced back 8 generations in one line of my mother's father's line in Bohemia, to the 1600's. I've worked on other lines as well. Was it easy? Heck no! I got to a point going backwards in time, where the records went from Czech to Latin. I tried. It made me feel like I was going blind. Another family member told me that that is where her research in another line came to a screeching halt, when the records went from German to Latin, going backwards. The script, the paragraphs, the watered down ink. Ugh! Using google translator, it took me almost a full day to translate my gg grandfather's obituary from Czech to English. He died in Nebraska, and his obituary was in a Czech newspaper, as were other family obituaries.

My cousin chased our family back to the Mayflower. I never checked her work. Aunts found conformational info.

My wife researched the family name as being an Ashkenazi jew. Who knows?
