No way in hell would I be standing in front of those windows or even in that building on the first floor.
 
fancy trying to clean those windows with all that flooding.
 
Its York the old Viking capital of England ( Yorvik) the water would have to be above the second floor before they closed the pub, The only real problem is if it gets a bit stuffy and some half wit opens the windy to let some fresh air in :) FYI in another photo it shows an Aussie guy cruising around in a Kayak having fun in the rapids between the buildings.
 
more like stupidity!! when is someone going to realise they are called "FLOOD plains" for a reason??
