Merry Christmas to all of you here. Hope everyone gets to spend time with family and enjoy them, be it by blood or adopted :). Stay safe and warm this holiday season. . . its not about what you receive but what you can give to one another that brings the greatest joys.

I attempted to like your posts, but couldn't. I truly appreciate this group and like when you answer my goofy questions.

I wish you all a very merry Christmas.

We are going to see Its a Wonderful Life tomorrow at an old refurbished movie house.

Then it's home for us. Since my son is Special, we still believe in Santa and it makes the holiday so cool. My daughter (24) and he sit in the floor taking turns . My kids were always taught that no matter the present, you act as though it's the greatest gift ever. So when they unwrap the underwear, they actually appreciate them.

Christmas morning we are having freshly made smoked pork sausage. Yummy.

Xmas/santa at 7am?..id ask what this world is coming to. But I ain't sure I wanna know. lol. My mornings are still getting started at that time.
Heck, we just finished opening presents and it’s 6pm! We ate at about 4:30. Thank goodness my youngest is 29 as waiting that long for a young child to open presents would be cruel and unusual punishment!
It was a good day but back to work in the morning.......

We had an awesome day!! I received so many 'preps' for gifts. . . mainly canning jars, replacement lids, a pink cooler to match my tractor (still need to paint the purple flowers on), sis got me a Farm Barbie as a gag and a Holstein coffee mug with 4 tits as feet, a yarn caddy, gift cards to JoAnns which will be used for fabric and tomorrow morning a vet is coming to start the AI process for my Jersey cow. She is getting older and cant handle the weight of our bulls. Getting it sexed for a heifer so crossing fingers she takes. After a couple weeks putting her back in with the bulls so crossing fingers. . . last time she got hurt pretty bad with her utters. Mt little sweet pea is a farm girl at heart. She so loves the animals. Funny when I was showing her the momma and new baby. She kept saying no that's daddy! Pointing to my Jersey "That's momma cow". She is only 2. She'll learn. :) She even helped when I tossed hay for the goats. Put her in the box the 'help' get it down. She got to pick greens from the garden to feed both the goats and cows. Watched Pops take hay to the 'big' cows. . . she was getting tired at that point and running her fingers thru my hair and laying her head on my shoulder. Still going an hour later but then she dropped! Nana and Pops will both be taking our showers early and going to bed early. . . I did remind Pops that this time next year we will have two . . . :)

Me and the mutt stayed home. The dog got a new bone and a stuffed animal. I changed oil in the tractor and main generator. Then did a little road work too. The wife will be home in a couple weeks and my daughter and grandbabies are coming down. We'll have Christmas then. My 2 year old grandson says he wants a tractor like his grandpa. Today I went to the John Deere dealer and ordered a toy tractor like mine. It was a good day.

We had a great Christmas! All the kids have the week off (a first) plus all my brothers/sisters plus ma (first time in over 40 years) son’s had to go into town to pick them up given their cars wouldn’t have made it (too much snow) when all said and done we had a tad bit over 30 people here.
