Weird potatoes I bought last week in a bag (russets). They looked fine when I dumped them in the potato bin. Today 3 of them looked ok, but they were mush inside when I picked them up. I bought organic bananas a week ago, and they were great looking. I didn't untape the bunch, they were kinda green, but not bad. Grabbed the bunch because they were looking more yellow and husband wanted one, and they were all watery. I picked up the bunch and they were dripping on the counter. All of them were like that. Just watched Homestead Heart on Youtube and she had some weird experience with a watermelon she got. Other people are commenting about problems with canteloupe and mango.
So, I don't know. Never saw this before. The veg and fruit looks fine visually, then when you touch it, its all watery.

I just began watching that but didn’t get very far. Sure is best to buy local. Getting scarier every day 😕

The only problem I have is when I buy large amounts of onions, like ten pounds, a few will go bad.

that is weird indeed! I have been getting absolutely perfect watermelons ( from Georgia , they have stickers on them) all summer. I think I am on number 6 or 7 this year. But in the past I have gotten mushy ones before also , maybe a few years ago
I haven't been able to get any decent mangoes this year, they are either hard as a rock , or rotten

I had banana's go bad far to quickly, been a few weeks. But big picture, most produce seems without flavor to me. Especially tomatoes, I rarely buy them anymore. Usually get the grape tomatoes instead.
buy tomatoes at a farmers market, store tomatoes don't even taste like tomatoes anymore , they are not red either
Even my crappy tomatoes with bottom rot this year are better than store ones, I just cut the bottoms off and use the rest

I watched that HH video too. Pretty scary how it affected her. The flies wouldn't even land on that melon.
