I was looking for a ar15 lower and someone recommended http://www.dreadnaught-industries.com/Guns.htm to me. I noticed a disclaimer at the bottom of their page and I thought I would share because I laughed my ass off for about 15 mins.

NOTE: Due to the California Firearms Licensee Check (CFLC) Program, as per AB 2521, Chapter 784, Session 2005-2006, Dreadnaught Industries LLC will not sell any firearms to any government entity or individual in California with the sole exception of US Military personnel sentenced to California duty. If you want one of our firearms, move to America.

Poor Clydesdale!

That is some funny ass ****! It does suck ass living here. I was living Nevada when my now ex-wife took my kid to California. Can't wait to get out of here!

I will unfortunately admit that I was born in Long Beach, California, but I was blessed to have smart parents who moved our family to the great state of Texas when I was only 6 months old. And I Thank God for it! They tend to live in their own little workd out there.

Barrett has said the same. Since their guns(50BMGs) are not legal in Cali, they refuse to sell to LE, or anyone else in Cali.

I thought for a second that this was kind of foul. They would sell to military and not to civilians in Cali? Then I realized they said they'll sell to military that are FORCED to live out there. That made me far more understanding. I think it's AWESOME!

Looks like its actually going to get worse in California REAL SOON!

Some highlights of the new legislation:

  • The 10-bill package constitutes the single largest gun control push in decades in the Golden State, which already boasts some of the nation's strictest gun laws.
  • It joins equally controversial proposals from Assembly Democrats that would regulate and tax ammunition sales and consider taking the state's 166,000 registered assault weapons from their owners.
  • Require anyone wishing to buy ammunition to first get a permit by passing a background check, as Los Angeles and Sacramento already do.
  • Update the definition of a banned shotgun with a revolving cylinder to include the new technology of a shotgun-rifle combination.
  • Prevent unregulated gun loans, with some exceptions, including hunting, in order to keep weapons from those who haven't passed background checks.
  • Require all handgun owners obtain a safety certificate every year, rather than the every-five-years requirement for purchases of new handguns.
  • Prohibit anyone barred from owning a weapon from living in a home where weapons are kept and to expand the list of crimes for which convictions result in being barred from gun possession.
  • Let the state Justice Department use money from the state's Dealer's Record of Sale system to eliminate the backlog of people identified as no longer allowed to own guns but not yet investigated and contacted by law enforcement.

Oh for the love of Pete, why don't they just get nannies for everyone so the government can control everything right down to passing gas. I will never step foot in that state, I'd end up arrested.

If that was a reference to gays..... I would take a homosexual over a flake or a nut any day. I've known some gay folks I wouldn't balk at grouping with in a prepper situation. I guess I've known a lot of good folks in Cali too though. Our fearless leader for one. Krime is another one, and I've had some good friends from out there. I wonder who all the people voting for Feinstein and Pelosi really are.... Or if they even exist!
